Isn't it cute? I should have done this years ago. When we remodeled the kitchen about 20 years ago, this cabinet stood empty for a while. Then my hubs made the board and figured out how to make it swing down and all that engineering stuff that I don't have a clue about. It was my task to make a cover for it. Well, finally, only about 15 years later, do I get the job done! Aye-yi-yi! Using a towel under whatever had to be ironed got to be a real pain in the neck, let me tell you! So I'm glad it's done, and I like the fab I used, although, once again, I can't remember what it is.
Well, have a wonderful weekend everyone.
And a big welcome to all my new followers since the giveaway! Hopefully my new friend Victoria in Ohio has received her fabric by now. But Pam in England is probably still waiting, but it's on its way. I was one day late in getting to the post office. but it's been winging its way to you since last Saturday.
Take care, and may you bless and be blessed.

It looks great! I have that fabric, too, but I can't remember what it is either...
ReplyDeleteIt does look great, something to brighten up the chore of ironing. My ironing board cover is a plain navy one, a bad choice it shows up every thread dropped on it :(
ReplyDeleteWow! What a great use of that fabric. I know where I can still get some : )
ReplyDeleteGreat project!!! Love it
ReplyDeleteIt looks fantastic! I need to get around to making a cover one of these days. The one I have on it now is NASTY looking!
ReplyDeleteThat's a really neat ironing board cover. If I had an ironing board in the wall like that, I might make one. Or if I even had an ironing board (!) I would make one. I have my sites on an ironing TABLE in my new sewing room.
