I fell in love with these before Christmas and, so, bought myself a prezzie, or three or five, of these
and I made this iPad cover for the iPad I won! I hardly ever win, compared to how many giveaways/raffles I used to enter.
I used a tutorial from www.oneshabbychick.typepad.com to make it. It was easy and quick.
Gotta run! I hope your weekend is wonderful!

Congratulations on being a winner! I know how difficult that is to do, especially when it seems like you're entering giveaways and contests ALL the time! I keep tryin. Great job with your cover. Enjoy.
ReplyDeleteLucky you, winning an ipad. I've got one and they are excellent, I use mine a lot in my sewing room, they're good for looking up tutorials, checking photos etc. I've just got a generic ipad cover, I might just have to look at the tutorial you used.
ReplyDeleteWow, winning an ipad is great! I've been talking about one for over a year now. It cracked me up when my friend Ginny B. was gifted one by her kids, and she didn't even know what it was. She was describing it to me over the phone, and I had to guess by the size it was, that was a riot!
ReplyDeleteLove your happy prints and finished cover, too cool! I'm happy for you!

How exciting winning an ipad! Still trying to talk my hubby into one... then of course I would have to make it a cover too. :)
ReplyDeletethis is really nice and you did a great job...I do not have an ipad but am thinking about it....
ReplyDeleteHi, Jodi. Who could resist those fabrics? And of course your ipad cover is much classier than the commercial kind!
