It's done and I gave it away on Sunday afternoon. And, Pokey, even though the green "Dottie" fabric light-weight home dec fabric recommended dry cleaning, nothing bled, nothing frayed or faded, so thanks for the comment. I think the mom-to-be liked it along with the pillow I posted about earlier.
It's actually the biggest baby quilt I've made, more like a twin size.
My husband told me it was too big, but is there any such thing?
Thanks for visiting my blog!
Wow! I love it :-) beautiful bright colors!
ReplyDeleteIt's really nice, Jodi! Aren't finishes wonderful? Such a great feeling. And no, it isn't too big. I bet the baby will grow into it!
ReplyDeleteWhat a fun happy quilt!!! I know Mom and baby will treasure it always
ReplyDeleteSo glad the fabric worked- it definitely works well in the quilt. So, the size is big, mine are, too, I should start calling it a kid's quilt, or a toddler's, because they are used so much longer that way than the small, square ones they outgrow too soon.
ReplyDeleteThis one will stay in the baby's life longer ~

Love this quilt! So bright and cheery!
ReplyDeleteHi Auntie,
ReplyDeleteI stumbled upon your blog and searched to see if Olivia's quilt was on here. It looks great in her room-- the colors work perfectly and certainly make her room extra happy. I disagree with Uncle Pat- the quilt isnt too big. Its great. O loves rolling around on it while we read stories. Thanks again!
