More log blocks for the log cabin quilt

I started working on these blocks using scraps a while ago.  I brought them out of their hiding place and made lots more blocks.  Now I have enough for a quilt, I think.  Maybe a large lap size.  It's old-fashioned and traditional, but there's always something about this block that speaks to me.
(black and white just for contrast)
I just noticed I now have 99 followers.  I want to welcome all my newest friends.  Someone going by the name of HoneyFieldOrchard just showed up as one of my followers.  I don't see an email address to say a proper hello, but if you are reading, thanks for becoming a follower!  It's getting close to being time for a giveaway so stay tuned.
