I made Ezra's I Spy quilt by raw-edge appliquing all these little cute things I've been collecting for about a year. It's roughly a twin size.
It was lots of work, but I hope he has some fun with it. He did manage to christen it already in the middle of the night recently. Poor mom and dad had quite a mess to clean up I imagine. But the quilt, and Ezra, came out okay in the wash!
What a labor of love! I've never seen an appliquéd I Spy quilt. This is great. Sorry to know about the way it was christened, but glad it all came out in the wash. Tee, hee.
This is SOOO cool and so adorable!! My mom has wanted to make my daughter an I spy quilt for months now and I'll be showing her your quilt for inspiration!!!
That's so cute, Jodi! It looks like so much fun, and cozy, too. He will enjoy it for many years.
