This is one of the things I've been working on in the month of May, and WILL finish it by the end of the weekend. It will go to reside at my daughter's house, as it is not really my style and she likes it. I loved the Jelly Roll when I bought it off the internet, but then changed my mind once I started working with it (and I also found out that Jelly Rolls make a mess - very linty all over the place)
I'm glad to know it'll go to a home that wants it! Nothing sadder than an unused quilt.
ReplyDeleteI've never used pre-cuts so I'm glad to know that I wouldn't like the mess! :)
The one jelly roll project I did, I noticed the same thing. I was happy with the finished quilt, though. I think yours is great! Your daughter will enjoy those quilty love hugs from you.

I've never used a jelly roll - thanks for the info!
ReplyDeleteI love the quilt, it looks nice and fresh, I've only used a jelly roll once, quite some time ago, I can't remember if it was linty or not.
ReplyDeleteI think it is a lovely quilt but I know what you mean. I have made quilts for people who have loved them, and sometimes been involved in the creative process but they have been not something I would have wanted for myself at all. As long as the quilt goes somewhere it is loved, that is what counts.
ReplyDeleteJodi, it's gorgeous!! What a lucky daughter!
