I've succumbed!

I know I'm not the only one, right, Pokey?  Making these little 3-inch scrappy houses is so much fun.  If you are interested, visit here:  http://buildinghousesfromscraps.blogspot.com/.  Jeanneke from the Netherlands has got us going.

I've made five so far, but I need to catch up.  The idea is to make 366, one each day this year (a leap year).  Then sew sashing and cornerstones for, a quilt, of course!
Next time I post I hope to have lots more done, along with some quilt finishes and progress on my sister's.
Till then, thanks for tarrying with me a bit!

  1. Oh, I'm glad to have a friend to sew along with! They are sew cute, huh, Jodi? I only have 2 done, and though I like the idea of one for each day, I am pretty sure mine will be a mini wall quilt.
Good to see someone is as loony as I about the sweet lil' houses!

  2. Those sure are cute! I love the colors of the top one, but the owl and fish in the window are the best! What a big challenge to make so many!

  3. Hi, Jodi. Those houses are so cute--i really like the animals in the windows. The windows would lend themselves well to novelty prints. oooh so many possibilities! Looks like you'll have lots of time to test out ideas.
    best, nadia
